If VIA Service is ENDED in Converse...

Judson ISD will have to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to provide transportation service for students.

If VIA service is ended the Converse plan will strand residents at a VIA transit station outside the city so seniors who rely on transit will be unable to easily get home from medical appointments or grocery shopping trips.

The ½ cent sales tax would continue to be collected

The sales tax will continue to be collected until Converse pays VIA $13 million it owes

The sales tax does not automatically return to Converse. A SECOND SALES TAX VOTES will be required!
